We are a design team at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, working on “Living Well With Diabetes”, a new generation of products and services for young people with diabetes. Our goal is to make diabetes products that serve the specific needs of pre-teens and teenagers — especially as they begin to take charge of their own care. Fatih Kursat Ozenc is the lead designer, he is a PhD candidate in design at CMU. Margaret Hagan is a PhD researcher and a public artist working on issues on human rights, and social change.
